Baseline Assessment

The baseline assessment should be completed by a professional who knows the young person well and has experience of working with them in an educational setting. It is a very simple process working down a list of targets from chosen competencies linked to; 

• EHCP outcomes, 
• School focus, 
• Half termly focus, 
• Other identified area of need

The assessment should happen three times throughout the year and be cross referenced with evidence accrued through the targeted provision.
