Monitoring and Assessment

Monitoring

Once a target is set and in place, Learners will embark on a journey of collating the evidence required to show they can execute/complete the skill outlined in the target. They will require opportunities to explore and show these attributes through tailored provision that is planned. With attuned staff collating this evidence they can move through the levels of learning

Assessment

Practitioners should record evidence so the SENCo or other nominated professional can assess if they have met specific criteris to achieve a target;

  • Seen in a range of contexts
  • Over a significant amount of time
  • On a minimum of 10 occasions

This collation of evidence will be cross referenced with termly assessment from key workers to ensure they align across the provision.
